Day 13 - Jesus is Truly God and Truly Man; Lust Images Satan

You are too precious to lust—you belong to Christ!

Matthew 1:23 – ²³ “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).”

Matthew 3:1-3 – “¹ In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, ² “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” ³ For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight’” [Isaiah 40:3].

Matthew 11:27 – “²⁷ All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him” (Matt 11:27).

Matthew 28:20b – “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Jesus is truly God—YHWH the Son, with us. John the Baptist, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy, prepared the way for YHWH, who is Jesus. Only Jesus truly knows His Father because He is one with Him. Likewise, only those whom Jesus chooses to reveal the Father to will know Him as well.
